December 9th, 2004: Our Christmas category has been updated and now contains 2 full pages of links. You can find our Christmas category as a sub-category under Seasonal Crafts.
In our General Crafts category, you can now find sub-categories for Victorian, Primitive, and Country crafts.
Over 600 new listings have been added since October 2004. Our search engine database now contains over 4600 listings.
December 1st, 2004: We've added a sub-category for Wood Carving. You can find this new section under Woodworking.
A new program that invites individual websites to maintain/moderate categories has been implemented. The following categories have been thoroughly reviewed and updated by our new maintainers: Angels, Art and it's sub-categories, Bath & Body, Beadwork, Bridal, Candles, Card Making, Charities, Cross Stitch, Florals, Paper Crafts, Rubber Stamping, and Scrapbooking.
October 28th, 2004: Several new categories, and many new listings, have been added. The new categories include Antiques and Spinning/Weaving. Various new sub-categories have also been added.
Also, our switch to a new web host, offering more bandwidth(room for more visitors), went very smoothly today. The Craft Site Directory remained fully functional during the process. Wonderful!
October 13th, 2004: A new 'Paper Mache' sub-category has been added under 'Paper Crafts'. Paper mache is a great low cost craft. All you need is some flour, water, and old newspapers. The technique is very easy. It involves using paper, usually strips of newspaper, mixed with a flour and water paste to create shapes and scupltures. Balloons, cardboard boxes, empty paper rolls and other recycled materials can used as a base for your paper mache sculptures. September 29th, 2004: Several hundred new listings have been added. There are now over 4000 websites in our search engine database.
September 21st, 2004: Our website counter reached 3 million unique visitors early this morning. Over 6 million page views have been recorded since we added the counter in July 2001.
August 31st, 2004: About 150 new listings were added within the past couple days. These categories, among many others, were updated: Art, Candles, Free Stuff, General Crafts, Gifts, Jewelry, Needlepoint, Patterns, and Pottery.
