Hanukkah is an eight day Jewish holiday that commemorates the re-dedication of the Jewish temple. It is also called the Festival of Lights. It starts on the 25th day of Kislev on the Hebrew calender. This can be anywhere from late November to late December. In 2011 it is December 20th-28th. 2012 will be December 8th-16th and 2013 it will be celebrated November 27th - December 5th. It is observed by lighting the candles on a Menorah, lighting one candle each night of Hanukkah. The ninth candle in the center of the Menorah is used to do the lighting,
