Under woodworking we've added a new sub-category for woodturning. Woodturning is the art of using a lathe to shape wood into decorative and/or functional pieces. There are many informative sites listed in this new section as well as suppliers and online shops.

Our paper crafts category also has a new sub-category, parchment craft. Parchment craft is an art form that dates back to the 16th century, possibly earlier. Using special tools for cutting, performating and embossing, lace-like designs are created on parchment paper. PergamanoŽ is the trade name for a company that specializes in these tools, but the term is also commonly used to describe this technique.
