Yet another resource for knitters, crocheters and other yarn crafters has been added to the Lion Brand web site.
On August 8th, 2006, Lion Brand Yarn announced that a new calendar of knitting and crochet events is now available on their web site. The new calendar is the most comprehensive, up-to-date resource anywhere for public yarn crafting events. It includes dates, times and locations for fiber festivals, county fairs, knit-outs and other crochet and knitting events across the U.S.
The new calendar can be accessed from the home page of the Lion Brand Web site by selecting "Yarn-Lover's Events" from the feature list on the left side of the page. Each listing includes dates, the location, the name of the event and a link to the web site for the event. Show promoters and organizers of yarn related events are encouraged to email their information to webmaster@lionbrand.com for inclusion in the calendar. "People who have attended some of the events have told us what a thrill it was to be in one place with hundreds of others who knit and crochet." said Ilana Rabinowitz of Lion Brand Yarn "Our new calendar helps yarn crafters across the country to connect in person."
