These events will be taking place at each of the Michaels stores locations across the US and Canada. Be sure to mark your
calendar! You do not need to show up for the entire length of the events, you can come and go as your family's time allows.
Event Date: August 27, 2005
Event Time: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time at each of their locations
Event Details: Michael Stores, Inc. will be hosting Scrapbook Discovery Day. The afternoon will be filled with free activities for beginning scrapbookers and card makers. Four separate activities are planned along with five demonstrations. Customers will be able to complete projects using the latest products and take their finished designs home with them. Attendees can register to win a gift basket filled with scrap booking and paper crafts supplies. There is no purchase necessary to win or to participate in the free activities.
Event Date: September 17, 2005
Event Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. local time at each of their locations
Event Details: Partnering with other major arts and crafts companies, such as DecoArt, Darice, and Scotch Brand, a holiday themed craft project is planned for kids of all ages. Supplies for the project will be provided free of charge to participants and Michaels associates will be on hand providing step-by-step instructions. A free project brochure featuring holiday oriented ideas that can be completed at home will also be given out to attendees.
