National Sewing Month, celebrated throughout North America, is coming up in a couple weeks. Now would be a great time to start pulling those unfinished sewing projects from the closet or plan a new sewing project.

The Home Sewing Association website is a great place to find sewing lessons, sewing projects, and other ideas on how you can get involved with National Sewing Month. The link below also contain suggestions for first-time sewing projects for children and adults.

Sewing Savvy Magazine suggests planning local activities and projects in your community. These great ideas involve very little planning and could involve just family and friends.
